Who we are

The marinera lives in Europe and its home is Milan.

Club Libertad Europa is delighted to invite all friends of the Marinera, schools and academies to the VIII European Contest 2026, to be held in the cities of Milan and Pavia, Italy.

Club Libertad Europa brings together the Peruvian community across the continent around Peru's national dance. We organise the European Marinera Contest, the official qualifier for the World Marinera Contest of Trujillo, and a gala week that celebrates tradition with the elegance it deserves.

We are a chapter of Club Libertad de Trujillo, the institution that has guarded the world's most important contest since 1960. Our job is to open that path to the couples who dance in Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, France and the United Kingdom.
