What is the Fiesta del Perol
Club Libertad Europa has the honour of inviting you to the traditional Perol Ball, held on the occasion of the VIII European Marinera Contest.
The Perol is the great social celebration of the marinera. It was born in Trujillo as the gathering where the families of Club Libertad met around a cooking pot —the perol— to share food, music and dance on the eve of the contest.
In Europe the tradition continues with white attire as its code: a gesture of unity and elegance that levels queens, judges, dancers and audience. It is the night the European Queen is crowned and the band plays until nobody wants to leave.

Doors open at Salone Eventi with a welcome for queens, academies and families.

Gala dinner with flavours from northern Peru.

Coronation
Coronation ceremony of the European Queen and tribute to the visiting queens.

Live music accompanying the night's marineras.

Dancing
Open floor: marinera, tondero and celebration until close.
